Will you want to make use of the dishwasher?

The dishwasher is a commercial model with a rapid wash cycle. It is very different to the domestic type and only trained hirers who have been authorised to use it may do so. Misuse will risk the loss of your deposit.

Will hazardous activities (including Bouncy Castles) be involved?

Hazardous activities such as Bouncy Castles and martial arts are excluded from our insurance policy. You must obtain your own insurance cover and provide us with a copy of the certificate. Note that the installation of a Bouncy Castle outside the hall will also require the permission of Upton Parish Council.
Will alcohol be consumed on the premises?

If alcohol is to be consumed, you will need to seek the consent of the committee. See the FAQ for more information.
Will any money be involved in the provision of alcohol?

If money changes hands for whatever reason, whether at a bar, as part of the price of admission, or as membership of a club, you must either request the use of our Premises Licence (for which we charge a small fee) or seek our permission to serve a Temporary Event Notice with the District Council.
