Payment Terms

Full payment of your hire fee and deposit is due no later than four weeks before your event. We do not issue reminders, so please ensure that you make your final payment in good time; if payment is not received you may forfeit the period booked and we may accept bookings from other hirers.

Please note that bank transfer is our preferred method of payment – cheques will only be accepted by prior agreement at the time of booking.

Payment can be made by the following methods:

  • Bank Transfer: to our bank account:
    • Upton Village Hall Amenities Trust, CAF Bank, sort code 40-52-40, account no 00025632.
    • Please quote your date of hire as a reference, and also provide us with your bank details for the return of the deposit – via accounts@uptonvillagehall.co.uk
  • PayPal: send payment to our PayPal account – accounts@uptonvillagehall.co.uk. Please quote your date of hire as a reference. You must make two separate payments – one for the deposit and one for the hire fee – as we are unable to make partial refunds through PayPal.
  • Cheque: only accepted by prior agreement at the time of booking; make cheques payable to Upton Village Hall Amenities Trust, posted to Pound Cottage, Stream Road, Upton, Didcot OX11 9JG

Unfortunately we are unable to accept cash.
